Our Adoption Timeline
2008 September 5
Well it seems like we have been apart of this adoption process forever (which by the way is nowhere near as long as some people in our agency that are still waiting to bring their little one/s home) and I know for our friends and family it has been a long process as well. It seems that not day goes by without some one asking Jamie or I “when will you be bringing your little one home” or some version of that question. So I thought it was about time I explained in depth what we have already done and what we still have to do between now and meeting our little one.

As you can see we have come a long way but we still have a long way to go. Thank you so much for the interest you have shown in our adoption process and for the many prayers you have prayed. We could still use your prayers. Pray that our process goes smoothly and that we are the shorter end of the estimates (hey I can hope, hee hee). As well as this we are in the process of applying for grants and fundraising as we are still hoping to do this debt free (thank you to all who have already given and continue to give). Thanks again as your thoughts and prayers are so precious to us.
Yeah! We are going to have a baby!!!
Love ya!
Jamie
I hope all happens as quickly and smoothly as possible for you’s!
My friend’s famiy adopted two gorgeous little boys from Kenya a couple of years ago. The process was long and at times difficult, but I know the joy it has brought made the whole process worth it.
Praying for you guys…

Hi Kim:
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment.
The wait is for the most part pretty good but there are times when it gets incredibly hard. I am so thankful for the support of all the wonderful people also on this emotional journey to have a family.
Looking forward to following along on your journey.
